There's a hype touring the world. A kind of magic resolution to enable everybody to live an easygoing life with no more financially problems ever again: Home-based business in context with internet marketing.

Doesn’t it just sound too good to work at home and make money the easy way? Why should we go on with this 9 to 5 when we could make the big money while sitting at home? Wouldn't it just be THE THING for you?

STOP!

Sit down and think before you quit your job and ask yourself some questions:
Do you honestly want to work from home? (I mean really work) -
Are you able and willing to invest your time even when there is no direct return for maybe some months? -
Are you open to learn and to follow training? -
Are you the type to discipline yourself to work regularly? -
Do you like to communicate? -
Can you picture a vision? -
Can you motivate yourself again and again and again?
If you could answer all the questions with yes – and please do that honestly to yourself -
Home Business is the right thing for you.

So what to do now?
To get to know into what you are moving I recommend you should start to invest 1 or 2 hours a day beside your existing job. This is a safe method to get to know the business and to find out if you feel content with this kind of work. Believe me, you will need a time to understand the real internet marketing/promoting and its system. Plus you could start to build an income during this time and there wouldn’t be a hard break for you when the day is there to become a fulltime home-based business entrepreneur. Your own boss!

Realize before ever starting:
When you decide to work for yourself – it means WORK and YOURSELF.
Nobody to tell you to do your work but you –
Nobody to tell you where to start but you -
Nobody to tell you when to stop but you –
And nobody to blame but you –
You are the boss now, with all the consequences.

If you think you can do this – Then Home Business Is Your Thing!

Once you entered this road you may find it irritating first, as so many opportunities appear. You may even stumble a few times till you are able to tell if an opportunity is professional and fits your business. But as long as you think positive and work concentrated and focused on your target you’re on the right way to a life, which is directed by you and it will lead you to success. The best way to start is to follow a training. A good coach and your firm intention is a 99% guarantee to your success. You don’t have to learn it the hard way; you can just follow a proven system.

Which one this will be? Well, this decision is up to you.

How and Where To Start

When I first started to realize the idea of working from home I searched the net for opportunities, I subscribed to some newsletter (well, one of it made my life) and I was reading paid emails to get an idea of what it is all about. Everything I read did sound so fantastic and I said to myself: "I can do that!" I saw myself as a good earning internet marketer in a relatively short time. I did sign up on several opportunities and was told to upgrade to be able to profit on spillover and that the company would do all the rest on its automated system. Well, of course I did upgrade in a few programs and I did advertise and I even bought some sign ups. But I never really earned as much as I was spending. Does that sound familiar?

Why is this happened to most of us? I guess it’s because we read so much hype advertising and don’t go the way we should go directly: Training, Knowledge, and Strategy! Like in any profession we need to learn the How To Do It Right first.

As longer as I was involved as more I read – and as more I read as more I understood. So I canceled all this "We Do All For You" programs and stuck on only one, which I could call My Business. I’ve got my own web site and this is my "Baby". What ever you chose to do as Home Work, do something you can identify yourself with. Something you love and you want to see grow. And then stick to it and go for it 100% with your full heart and full power. Instead of advertising 10 different opportunities – each a little bit – build yourself a homepage where you can advertise your favorites. And then you can concentrate on advertising your homepage – Your Baby.

You can have a pre-build home page with certain opportunities included or you can build a homepage yourself and include your chosen opportunities. But get your own homepage as this is YOUR BUSINESS and you will feel and act different with it than with only an affiliate-page from the company you refer for.

Once you have it, concentrate on the main part of internet marketing. Advertise and be a good sponsor in meaning of support. Get to know well the programs you’re working with, so you can support your downline. And never stop to update your knowledge as this is the real capital you have. All the rest comes alone as you know how to do.

Stay with your programs and don’t switch after three months only because it’s starting slow. If you go strong it will become strong. It is always starting slow for beginners but the point is to overcome this point. Once it’s starting to role it is almost unstoppable. Then your job will be to train instead of being the trainee.

I was lucky (and still am) to have a good mentor and training. And I made it because I know that to build a stabile house needs to build a strong fundament first.

So how and where to start? Get good training – get your own Baby – and concentrate on Your Business!

Planning Is The First Step

Starting a home based business is less complicated and takes less preparations than most of home businesses need. No search for an office or a shop, no money you need to pay in advance to rent or buy a place. Not need to order a stock to be able to sell or to buy any machines to manufacture any goods to make some profits from. Even not need to go with a calculation plan to your bank and ask them for a credit. Most home based businesses you can start right out of almost nothing.

But does that mean you don't need to plan your actions? Or you don't need to be prepared? NO!
Most people fail because they just run without a plan and without a target.

Let's focus here on internet marketing. Uncountable opportunities and uncountable broken and disappointed people. But why? Because they run without a plan. Even the smallest business needs planning.

So what is it that you have to plan?
First you check your computer. Clean it from unneeded stuff and make sure that you have enough free space. Upgrade your computer if necessary, make it fast and able to download some tools without being on the limit and getting slow. Your computer is your No 1 work tool, so treat it as such.

Now take an empty file with alphabetical sheets. This is for your IDs. Print each membership confirmation you'll get and keep it in this file. If you change your password write it down on this confirmation right away. Believe me you'll get lost over the time without doing it.

Organize your emails. Set up files to store your emails so you can find them when needed. Like one for each company you'll become an affiliate/member, one for training, one for IDs, one for interesting stuff you will maybe check out later and so on.

You will now have to think about the opportunities you want to join. Take a sheet of paper, or a ring file and calculate your budget. You will need to advertise and if you found yourself an opportunity you would like to upgrade to make a better money out of it, you need to pay a monthly fee. You probably need to pay a Host if you want to get seriously into the business. Write all possible monthly payments down. Don't forget about your online charges. Do not go to extreme limit of what you are able to pay, as it is important to keep upgraded memberships if you don't want to lose all your referred downline.

Even if some opportunities are free to join, do not go for more than two or three in the beginning. Join any company you think it is worth it and get to know the company and the products and take yourself the time to go through the training. All good companies have training and e-courses and you will profit from each and learn how to do. Join a forum (some companies have own forums) and ask about everything you would like to know. Sign up for one or two newsletter about home based business or about specific themes and give yourself a bit time to understand all the biz you are part of now.
If you sign up for too many opportunities at one time, you will not be able to get to work on each of them enough. This is what most people do. They sign up as it sounds great and it is free and then they get lost and can't advertise none enough to turn it into profit. If you want to join more programs right at the beginning, you should get a website immediately so you can advertise this site and all your programs at once.

So here we come straight to the next planning: Plan and track your advertising. Every ad you place. You will have to control the results and change your ad or/and the site you placed your ads. You want to know that the time and the money you spend is worth it, right?

Plan all your activities and track it. Take the first three to six month as your learning phase and do not expect the big money rolling in during this time. Sure you can earn and even get into profit but do not dream about the five figure income during your first three month as many do and than are disappointed.

Now plan your day: Time for emails reading/responding, time for training, time for searching the net for good advertising possibilities, time to study some tools and so on.

Internet Marketing is exciting and a very profitable business if you do it right. Plan your business and work with the plan. That is how Pros do!
